This was a theoretical design for a production of A Good Life adapted by Jeremy Sams, based on the 70s TV sitcom of the same name. I wanted to create a sense of theatricality with bringing the outside in, as that is the concept behind the show. Using reused wooden pallets as portals with foliage and floral elements crawling through it created great focus and a centre point for lighting through. Bringing foliage and grass into the space was something I really wanted to do to soften the edges of the theatre.
