This was a theoretical design for a production of A Good Life adapted by Jeremy Sams, based on the 70s TV sitcom of the same name. I wanted to create a sense of theatricality with bringing the outside in. Using reused wooden pallets as portals with foliage and floral elements crawling through it created great focus and a centre point for lighting through. Bringing foliage and grass into the space was something I really wanted to do to soften the edges of the theatre.
